What do I choose now?

This is such a great quote to remember. What do I choose now?

On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know...
...that "Why is this happening?" is the most useless
question in the Universe.

The only really profitable question is, "What?" As in,
"What do I choose now?" This question empowers.
The "why" question simply perplexes, and rarely
satisfies even when it gets a good answer.

So don't try to "figure it out." Stop it. Just focus on
what you now wish to create. Keep moving forward.
There's nothing behind you that can possibly serve
you better than your highest thoughts about tomorrow.

Quote of the Day

On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know...

...that your security is guaranteed through the sharing
of your love.

The peace and safety for which you yearn is not a
matter of food, clothing, and shelter. It is a matter of
love. Love and be loved, and all else will be added
unto you.

The world will perform its magic when you step into
yours. That is the promise of God, and it will be kept.

Quote of the Day

On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know...

...that life is about your soul, not about your body and
not about your mind.

Most people work hard to keep the body happy. Then
they seek to stimulate their mind. Then...if there is time...
they look after their soul. Yet the most beneficial priority
has it just the other way around.

When was the last time you paid attention to your soul?

My Nephew's pond

My nephew made a pond this year and a frog hatched from a tadpole. Look at how the light plays on the water.

This is my daughter Cherell before a marathon.

If we are strong physically do we feel stronger on all levels?

Better to give than receive?

Is it better to give than receive? If we don't receive, how can anyone give?

I was gifted a weekend in St George by a friend. Was I comfortable receiving this gift? I had to work at being OK about receiving the road trip I didn't know I needed and wanted to take.

Why are so many of us more comfortable giving than receiving? Is it really more noble to give? More Spiritual? Isn't it arrogant of us to believe that receiving is less than?

We walked a labyrinth in the 109 degree heat. We walked fast, it wasn't a slow meditative stroll. I began the chant, Yes, Thank you. Half way through I realized that if we don't receive gracefully and completely, it stops the Universal flow.

Do we feel safer giving because we are in control. In order to receive we must open ourselves up. Giving love, money, time, advice, is so easy to do. Can we receive love, money, a person time and energy, and advice as easily?

quote of the Day

On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know...
....that you should never be content with so little when you can reach out for something big.

Charles L. Allen asked a question about that, wondering why so many people settle for so little. You do not have to place yourself among them. The world is an abundant place. Abundant with opportunity, abundant with good fortune, abundant with ideas, and abundant with love.

Reach into that abundance and take what is rightfully yours. It is your inheritance, gifted to you by God. Let yourself have it. Do not fail to reach for it for fear that it will not come to you. How can it come to you if you do not reach for it?

Do not be content with so little. Reach, stretch, for something big.
